The Building Better Lives Together is a passion project of the Reverend Lawrence J Stevens. The Reverend Stevens, or “Larry” as he prefers to be called, believes that, as a Christian and former pastor, who owes his life to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and social service providers who helped him survive the chronic health problems that made him homeless.

LJ Stevens

LJ Stevens is a retired United Methodist pastor living in Vienna, Austria. who became homeless after severe health problems made it impossible for him to work. / He literally owes his life to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and social service provides who got him through the worst of the crisis. / Building Better Together is his way of "paying it forward" by applying Biblical teachings regarding how we as individuals and a society are to show compassion for the homeless and other marginalized members of society.
