Becoming Better Together is a passion project of former United Methodist pastor and current homeless individual, the Reverend Lawrence J Stevens.
Inspired by Carl Jung’s concept of the “wounded healers” whose own experiences make them effective healers of those in similar circumstances, Becoming Better Together is firmly grounded in the teachings of most faiths regarding our responsibilities to the poor and other marginalized members of society.
The Reverend Stevens believes his experiences with the chronic health issues that made him homeless, he is one of Carl Jung’s “wounded healers” and, therefore, in a somewhat unique position to which allows him to help other homeless and marginalized persons by founding the Becoming Better Together project.

Regardless of whether or not it does, the page needs to present a clear, compelling, and concise case which explains how the funds will be used to help the homeless, followed by a clear call to actions.
